What is amazing about the hymn "Sing Alleluia to the Lord" is that when you sing it with several other people in harmony, the effect can be simply awesome.
When the DRSS choir sang this hymn at the wedding of AH and JL, we sang it in harmony, that is, after each "Sing Alleluia to the Lord" (sung by SC and SL), I repeated what they sang but in a different tune. We then sang "Sing Alleluia, Sing Alleluia" together. When it came to the last "Sing Alleluia to the Lord", I again repeated what they sang but in a different tune. Choirs in Catholic churches tend to sing this hymn in this manner.
