We spent the day with FIL and MIL.
Everyone managed to get up early today! Yippee! We went to fetch FIL and MIL and proceeded to Changi Village. Top on everyone's mind was the famous Changi Village nasi lemak.
Which stall sells the best nasi lemak? Actually, we do not know. Normally, we will buy from the stall with the longest queue, thinking that if it has the longest queue, it should be the best.

Today, the stall with the longest queue was a nighmare. Many customers in front of us ordered multiple packets of nasi lemak. For example, a customer ordered more than 10 packets!
As the queue was moving too slowly, we decided to order the nasi lemak from another stall.
Was there any difference in the taste of the nasi lemak? I think the difference, if any, would be in the chilli (which I do not take) and the rice (as in how lemak the rice is). Beyond that, I frankly doubt that there would be much difference.
FIL's tummy was not too good today and he decided to take a raincheck on the nasi lemak. Instead, he ordered "ban cheng kueh" (or "mi chang kueh", as FIL calls it). Ah... my favourite snack!
Here's wishing one and all a wonderful 2010. The Lord has gone ahead of us in this year and He has paved the way for us. All we need to do is to rest in Him and trust Him.
