Labour to enter into His rest

We do not have to labour to enter into heaven. God promised that we will live in a land flowing with milk and honey.

Rest is not inactivity. It is rest in work. We are to rest while we are working. God is asking us to labour to enter into His rest.

Everything has been provided for us. Let us have faith! Believe that He has finished it. He is working in us, through us and for us. God wants us to rest.

Just think about this.... if we do nothing, God is doing something. Awesome!

Contrary to popular belief, you cannot find in the Bible any verse to the effect that God helps those who help themselves. This phrase was created by man.

God has finished the work but He gets us involved so that we will get blessed along the way. As such, do not be full of worry. Let us not eat the bread of painful labour because God gives to His beloved even in his sleep.

When we sleep, God gives us the help that He cannot get to us when we are awake because we are too busy helping ourselves.

There is no exigency that takes God by surprise. The Lord has prepared the way for us. Let us give Him praise for He has and will always deliver us from evil and He will prevent us from entering into evil. The Lord is working everything for us.

Even when things seem to be against us, God is working everything for our good. Relax! Do not allow our enemies to steal our joy. God is working in us all the time.

Do not feel that everything depends on us. In Jesus' name, we remove that feeling! Rest is more important.

In this year 2010, let us believe that God has gone ahead of us and He has prepared the way for us. The just shall live by faith. God is working in us and He is handling the storm around us. Everything will end up His way and as such, let us put our lives in God's hands.
