The power of prayer

God's ways are opposite from men. Jesus fed 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread. On the other hand, with 7 loaves of bread, He fed 4000 people. What does this tell us? For God, the bigger the problem, the easier for Him!

If we are perfect, we do not have to pray in the name of Jesus. In and of ourselves, we are not perfect. Through Jesus, what prayer is there that God will not hear?

Jesus broke His heart to bind ours. Jesus is the way. God will hear our prayer.

God is a loving Father.

Sometimes, we pray prayers that we do not really mean. Thank goodness that God does not answer all our prayers as He knows that some of our prayers are made in the heat of the moment or do not come from our heart. For example, Asians are fond of saying "die, die, die" during a crisis. Thank goodness that death does not result!

God is faithful to what Jesus did. He will give us healing, provision and protection.

God sometimes does not answer our prayers. In His love, He over-answers our prayer. Have you ever driven to a popular shopping mall and made a quick prayer to get a parking lot? What did you end up with? A parking lot right next to the escalator leading you to the mall!

God knows the future. He knows what we need more than we do. When God closes a door, he opens a gate.

Jesus did not condemn those who use few words in prayer. In fact, the more simple our prayer, the more powerful the prayer is.

We do not live in the times where we have to break through. Jesus has broken through for us. Jesus' death and resurrection has changed everything.

God wants us to see who He really is. He stands ready to answer us.

God is quick to send blessings. He is slow to send judgments.

Ernest prayer is a prayer of declaration of faith. If we believe in our heart and say it with our mouth, we will have whatever we pray / say.

God sent his Son to make a way where there is no way. Without faith, it is not possible to please God. Continual prayer is nothing more than thanksgiving (rejoicing with a grateful attitude towards God). The only prayer we pray at every season of the day is a prayer of thanksgiving.

Let us pray for big things. Let us pray about the weather, global warming, the oil crisis - there is a solution to all these problems. Our God is bigger than the experts. The power of life and death is in the tongue.

It does not matter what others say about us. It is what we say about ourselves that matters.

I AM YOUNG, BEAUTIFUL AND FRUITFUL!

I say that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I will have whatever I say. I am a child of the Most High. I am a daughter of the King. We are kings and priests. Where the word of the king is, there is power.

God was persuaded even before we prayed. He sent His Son long before we know that we have a problem.

Have the faith of God. Whatever we believe and do not doubt in our heart, whatever we pray, we will get.

He who did not spare His own Son, how shall He not also freely give us ALL things? Jesus is God's best blessing and greatest gift. God answers exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

God is pleased with prayer. Prayers shows our dependence on His wisdom and omnipotent arm.

The more effortless the prayer is, the more powerful the prayer.
