We are under the new covenant

When we choose Jesus, great riches come to us. We, through His poverty, become rich. A good name is to be chosen, rather than riches. Whatever we want is all in Jesus. Love favour, rather than silver and gold. We love favour by relying on favour. We look at Jesus and rely on His favour. Let us humble ourselves to worship Jesus and believe that only He can give us the solution to all our problems. Jesus said that we are forgiven all, we are healed of all and we are blessed. God's blessings follow us all the days of our lives.

Jesus is God's will in action. Everything in the gospel about Jesus is a reflection of God's will. He that has seen Jesus has seen the Father. What we believe is important. Jesus never turned away anyone who was sick. God's will is that we be healed. There may be reasons why some are sick but that is not God's will. Use our faith to believe that God's anointing is on us and we have the favour. We get what we believe. So, it is going to be an exciting week for us this coming week. As we have believed, so be it done unto us. We have to believe it for ourselves.

If we are not having God kind of results, we need to change our believing. Right believing produces right living. The new covenant is about believing and not about doing.

The strength of sin is the law. If there is no law given, there is no temptation to sin. The law is holy but it cannot make us holy. By the law is the consciousness of sin and that sense is deadly.

Sickness is a curse of the law. God did not make us sick to teach us lessons. However, Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (on the tree). There is a law in the old testament that says that anyone who hangs on a tree is cursed. Jesus hung on the tree and He became a redemption for us from the curse.

If this is so, why are believers still suffering from the symptoms of the curse? Confession of faith is important. If we believe right, we will say it. More importantly, many people like this because they have gotten the covenants mixed up. God will put the law of faith and the spirit of Christ in our hearts. He is our God and we are His people. He wants this to be real in our lives. God will be merciful to us unrighteousness and our sins and lawless deeds God will remember no more. We are children of the new covenant. Just because we do good does not mean that we will never be sick. We get into trouble when we do not believe that God is merciful to our unrighteousness and that our sins and lawless deeds God will remember no more. No more judgement and punishment for us! Believe that God is not fault-finding.

Do you believe that bad things happen to you because you have sin in your life? If you so believe, you are under the old covenant. When Jesus hung on the Cross, God took our entire life of sins and place them on Jesus. God punished Jesus for our sins. Thereafter, God cannot punish us for the same sin.

Under the new covenant, we do not have to do anything. We have nothing to do but to believe that everything He says is He will, He will, He will. Amen!

The way to get into trouble in the new covenant is when we do not believe that our sins are completely forgiven. We we believe correctly, we are full of life and energy.

We put our trust in Jesus' favour and grace. When God watches over us, God makes sure that we take and no one reproaches us. God loves for us to take from Him. God has so much to give; there is more than enough. God promised to supply us according to His riches. God wants us to take and take and take and He will give us some more!

When we have a boldness to take from Jesus, He never stops us. Jesus is above the storm of illness, economic downturn, crisis and He is our Saviour.

Long before we knew Jesus, when we pick up blessings in our lives, He had already dropped the blessings in our lives.

The only hope we have is favour and favour is what we will get from Jesus. It is not what we are but what He is. It is all about Him. The worse a sinner we are, do not worry - He is the best Saviour. He supplies our needs according to His riches and there is no end.

When someone takes from God, it gives God a party. For those who trust God, He gives them beyond what they asked for.

It is not enough just to read the Bible. We need to see Jesus in the Bible. Doubt and unbelief grieve Jesus. He will never play us out. He died on the Cross for us. Christ becomes of no effect to us if we are justified by the law. The more we hold onto the law, we make Christ of no effect. either the law saves us or Jesus saves us - we need to choose. If the law had been faultless, then there would have been no place for grace. God loves us and found fault with the covenant of the law. The new covenant that God brought (that is, the covenant of grace) promises us that our sins He will remember no more. He has made the law obsolete. God blesses us because He is good. The covenant of grace is based upon the blood of His Son, Jesus. Jesus paid for it with His blood. The blood of Jesus is our entitlement to protection and every blessings of heaven.

We are in Christ at all times and our identity is always hidden in Him who is our righteousness.

When we pray for people, we need to remember that we are not the healer - Jesus is the Healer. God's will is for us to be well. All of us have doubts, for example, "it is not the timing yet". However, all who came to Jesus were healed - Jesus never told them that it was not their time to be healed. Everyone that touched Jesus, He healed them all. Jesus is God's will in action. The more we believe that we are not qualified, the healing is obstructed. Jesus said that if we have faith and we do not doubt, we can speak to the mountain and it will move. Examples of doubt include timing and purpose. Let us remove all these doubts from our mind. There is no purpose to our being sick. There is no timing for us to get healed.

The less complicated we make our prayers, the faster we see the results. Many a time, people do not get healed because they have doubts. They need to remove the doubts from their mind. Jesus heals all - do not let our doubt rob us of the healing. Do not give up if we are not healed. Seek God and ask God to remove any doubt in our mind. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world.

We are a blessing going to happen to someone. Amen!
