The Prayer

When the DRSS choir was debating what song to sing for the processional march in church at AH's and JL's wedding on 8 November 2008, the bride requested for "The Prayer".

After giving the request some thought, the choir decided to gracefully decline the request. What was the reason? Sigh... none of us could speak Italian and we did not want to mangle the beautiful language by singing this song at such an important occasion as a wedding.

In case you are wondering, the choir eventually decided to sing "Wedding Song (Ave Maria)". Considering that the decision was only made in the morning of the wedding and the choir only had 2 practice rounds before "show time", I have to say that it was quite a good performance. *grin*

THE PRAYER
