Cracked Lingzhi spores

(Caveat: the following is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice. Please consult your doctor for more information.)

When we were young, we could eat just about anything we wanted and did not have to watch our food intake.

However, as we grow older, we have to be more careful about what we eat. I do not mean that we should deprive ourselves of food that we like. Rather, it is more a case of eating the food in moderation. In fact, everything that we do in life should be done in moderation.

There are several types of food that are known to increase our levels of cholesterol (eg. eggs, durian, etc). If we are able to avoid them, that would, of course, be the best. However, sometimes it may not be possible to avoid certain types of food totally. A good example would be that of egg. Egg is used in many dishes and it may not be possible to avoid eating eggs totally. What we can do is to cut down on our egg intake. If we often encounter egg in dishes that we eat (eg. fried rice, soup noodles), then we should try to reduce our intake of, say, omelette, scrambled eggs, or hard boiled egg.

Recently, some friends informed Da and I that cracked Lingzhi spores are effective in reducing cholesterol levels. I was intrigued. I have heard that Lingzhi mushroom has health benefits but I was not aware of its use in reducing cholesterol levels.

Lingzhi mushroom is a natural health supplement which is believed to have many valuable benefits and does not have side effects. The taste is sweet and it is therefore suitable to be consumed by anyone.

In traditional Chinese medical concept, the essence of the Lingzhi is able to penetrate the organs and its meridians to improve the conditions of the lung, heart, spleen, liver and kidney. This natural herb is believed to protect our immune system, and boost immunity, shortening the time for recovery, prevents a wide range of sicknesses and promotes self-healing.

Lingzhi mushroom is also recommended for people suffering from insomnia, anorexia, palpitation, dizziness, forgetfulness, nervous stress, hypertension, general body weakness or debility, fatigue, cough, indigestion, constipation, hemorrhoids, deafness, coronary heart disease and irregular heartbeat.

Lingzhi spores powder is the pollen that is released from the Lingzhi mushroom. Its release only lasts for 10 days. It is very precious and has therapeutic effects. The cracked Lingzhi spores powder is believed to be readily absorbed by the human body. It apparently also enhances the immunity system, strengthens the body, resistance against harmful factors, has the ability to promote metabolism and blood circulation, improves digestion, removes fatigue, relieves mental stress and lowers cholesterol.

Some studies discovered that the most effective part of the Lingzhi is the spores. However, the essence within the spores cannot be released and ingested by the body system. It would need to be first broken-open using advanced technology to facilitate the release of the essence for better absorption by the body system. Cracked Lingzhi spores are believed to help enhance immunity, stimulate and increase antibodies to forestall and fight against illnesses, and relieve irritability.

A testimony that we heard from a friend is that her relative was cured of his medical ailment (which I understand was that of high blood pressure) after consuming cracked Lingzhi spores. Another testimony that we heard was that of the lowering of cholesterol levels.

Supporters of cracked Lingzhi spores say that it is suitable for long-term consumption and aids to reduce fatigue, improve the quality of sleep, boost the immune system, strengthen the body's resistance to harmful substances, improve metabolism and blood circulation, and strengthen the respiratory system.

There is increasingly a lot of interest amongst the public about the health benefits of Lingzhi.

At the end of the day, if there are no side effects from consuming cracked Lingzhi spores and given the fact that this is, after all, a type of mushroom, well, I guess the old adage comes to mind - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If you have any testimonies about the health benefits of cracked Lingzhi spores, I look forward to hearing from you.
