A kaleidescope of food

Being the multi-racial society that Singapore is, we have a wide variety of food available everywhere, ranging from local cuisine to western cuisine.

Yesterday, Da and I ate different types of cuisine for breakfast, lunch, tea break and dinner. We had gone on a nature trail with WC and SC in the morning. After we parted ways with WC and SC, Da and I proceeded to church in the afternoon and we went to my mother's home for dinner in the evening.

For breakfast, WC, SC and I ate vegetarian noodles (Chinese cuisine).

Da ate fried carrot cake (Chinese cuisine).

Da also bought some deep fried dough fritters (Chinese cuisine) to be shared.

For lunch, the four of us ate Indian rojak (Indian cuisine) at Seah Imm hawker centre.

WC, SC and Da also had a bowl of cold dessert each (local cuisine).

During tea time, Da and I shared a chicken pie (western cuisine) and a rum ball (western cuisine).

For dinner, my mother cooked nasi lemak (Malay cuisine).

To end the dinner on a sweet note, we ate some Belgian chocolates (western cuisine).

We are very blessed to live in a country where there is so much variety of food available. Many food establishments open late into the night and some even operate on a 24-hour basis.
