Late dinner

I had to attend a last-minute work meeting this evening.

By the time I reached home, the claypot noodles that MIL bought for my dinner had expanded and the gravy had almost dried up. However, when I ate the noodles... thumbs up! They tasted like KL hokkien mee! Yummy!

MIL had bought the claypot noodles from a coffeeshop at Marine Terrace.

FIL bought some duku langsat today. He joked that he had winked at the duku langsat seller because he managed to buy the duku langsat at S$1 per kg.

FIL also bought some soon kueh. The ingredients were crunchy, unlike some other soon kueh whose ingredients were soft and "mashy".

Even without adding the sweet sauce, the soon kueh was delicious.
