2009 - the year of free favours of the Lord

We praise the Lord for He is good.

The year 2009 will be above and beyond what we can ask. It is all because of Jesus. He will take care of all our walk while we are on earth and nothing shall by any means hurt us.

God has anointed Jesus to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to recover sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

Jesus did not come to bring the day of vengeance. Arise and shine, for our light has come. The glory of our Lord has risen on us. The darkness shone on us in the past year (for example, the economic crisis, nuclear war, earthquake, etc). This year 2009 will show the Lord rising upon His people and the glory of the Lord will be seen on His people. We living in the end times but we are not in the day of vengeance. The day of vengeance happened 2000 years ago on the Cross.

We are still in the year of grace. 2009 will be a most blessed time when salvation and free favours of God profusely abound. We will see the people around us coming to Jesus. God is going to do favours for us and these are free.

It is not about whether we deserve it or not.

All the promises of God in Him are "yes" and in Him "Amen, to the glory of God through us. God gets glory when we say "yes" and "Amen" to all His blessings. Let us catch the blessings of God. Jesus' name is the "Amen". His name releases all the heaven's riches into our lives.

"Amen" means "I believe what is said", "I believe the blessing; be it unto me, according to what I have heard".

We will see good days in the year 2009. The report of heaven says that 2009 will be a good year. Let us see supernatural results this year. God wants us to see good days.

Let us love life. We should not accept tragedies and evil days as the norm. Our future will not be dictated by evil events. Forget the past! The future is right ahead. The blessed man will not see or feel it when evil comes.

Let us be positive. Do not let life pass us by. God is not waiting for the right time. God is waiting for us to say "yes" and "Amen". God wants us to enjoy life and see good days. Trials are only seasonal and short. Let us have right believing. Reject any sickness in our body. When God heals, He heals with style and gives us what we do not have before. God loves positive people.

Do not be affected by negative things that other people say about us. Let us rise about all this. Do not come down to the level of the naysayers. God loves to see "Amen" said before we see the manifestation of the blessing.

Jesus took our diseases, bore our sicknesses and by His stripes, we are healed.

I am not natural. I am a child of God. I am a new breed. I am a new creation!

We can redeem our time. God wants us to see good days. Jesus is the Messiah and He redeemed us from evil days.

On the day that Jesus died, from 12 noon to 3 pm, there was complete darkness when Jesus hung on the Cross, so that we can walk in our brightest days. He took our darkest days for us. God is Holy. Jesus fulfilled bible prophecy when He hung on the Cross.

The Lord make his face shine on us. Because He loved us, God sent Jesus to take our place. We will have good days, not because we deserve it but because it has been paid for by Jesus. God turned His back on Jesus so that we can always be in a place of eternal acceptance.

With God all things are cured and nothing is impossible.

If we speak God's Word, our days will be multiplied, like the days of heaven upon the earth. May we have days of heaven in the year 2009. We will be blessed with health, strength and the blessings of God.

Once we are saved, we are truly saved. It is eternal. We are irreversibly blessed. We have the eternal blood of God flowing in Emmanuel's veins. When we are saved, we are saved forever.

Say "Yes" to Jesus and receive your miracle!

What will you say to Jesus today?

Position ourselves to say "Amen". When the light comes in, all fear disappears. God's Words are health to all our flesh. Say "Amen" and all the blessings will be ours. May we live to be 120. May the year 2009 be the most blessed year for us, profusely abounding with the free favour and salvation of God.

Jesus is our Saviour. He did not come to condemn. He came to preach and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Let us not try to be our own saviour. Jesus will set us free when we welcome Him into our lives.

The year 2009 will be my best year yet. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

It is barely into the year 2009 and Da and I have already started to experience the manifestation of the free favours of our Lord. We had arrived in church today with less than 30 minutes to the start of the church service. As we drove into the carpark, we saw that the carpark was very full. However, as we drove along, we discovered that in the midst of all the filled carpark lots was one empty carpark lot, exactly outside the glass entrance to the shopping mall with the escalator that would lead us right to the Nokia shop that I wanted to visit to ask for assistance to adjust certain settings in my Nokia mobile phone.

After we parked our car and left the Nokia shop, there was less than 15 minutes to the start of the church service. When we approached the church, we saw that the queue outside the church had disappeared, signifying that the churchgoers who had queued up had already entered the church and seated themselves. There was therefore slim chance that we would be able to get seats in the main auditorium and we would probably have to settle for seats in the overflow room. I told Da, "Can get, can get. Cannot get, cannot get."

As we approached the entrance to the main auditorium to the church, we saw that the ushers were asking churchgoers whether they had reserved seats. The church distributes a limited number of tickets for reserved seats before each church service. As such, those who queue up at the beginning of the church service prior to the service that they want to attend would be able to get tickets for reserved seats. For example, if you wish to attend the 3rd service but you do not want to queue up (often for more than an hour) before the start of the 3rd service, you can approach a ticketing counter at the start of the 2nd service to obtain tickets for the 3rd service. That way, when it is time for the 3rd service, you can simply enter the auditorium directly without having to queue up with the rest of the churchgoers who do not have tickets for reserved seats. Da and I have never queued up for tickets before.

When we saw the ushers asking the churchgoers whether they had reserved seats, our hearts sank. The main auditorium was probably already full and as such, only those who had reserved seats would be allowed to enter the main auditorium.

Suddenly, a woman (who was not dressed as an usher and with whom we were not acquainted) who was ahead of us, turned towards us and asked us whether we had tickets. We shook our heads. She held out 2 tickets and asked us to take the tickets as she did not need them. We were stunned. We thanked her profusely and entered the auditorium. As we looked at the seat numbers, we realised that the seats were very close to the stage (they were located on the 4th row). She smiled at us and told us to hurry to the seats as the ushers would release the reserved seats to other churchgoers if the seats were not occupied 15 minutes before the start of the church service. As it was already less than 15 minutes before the start of the service and we were not familiar with the procedure for reserved seats, we approached an usher inside the auditorium who smiled and directed us to our seats.

Praise the Lord! What a wonderful gift from Abba Father! I believe that our Father gave us those two tickets through that lovely stranger.

Da and I thoroughly enjoyed church service today. As we listened to the Word, I could not help but have a wonderful and warm feeling. I am so blessed that our Lord loves Da and me so much. Thank you, Father! All praise and glory to You!
