Visit to the home of the Three Musketeers

Recently, MIL has been saying that one has to learn to "make time" and nowadays, if she wishes to do something, she will not waste a minute and make sure that she attends to the matter without further delay.

As the saying goes, "time and tide wait for no man".

Da and I ate a simple breakfast today comprising whatever I found in our refrigerator. Yes, more "rummaging". To be "fair and square", I sliced every item into half before I warmed them up in the refrigerator. "Jit Lang Jit Pua...."

Our breakfast included a hot mug of coffee.

In the afternoon, we brought Princess to Parkway Parade for an outing. After we fed her some Nestle rice cereal, we ordered the rice bowls from Yoshinoya for ourselves (and to share some with Princess, of course).

Da ordered the salmon rice bowl for me.

Da ate the beef rice bowl.

Each rice bowl comes with a small bowl of miso soup. I merrily poured my miso soup into my rice bowl. Oishi!

We also ordered a side order of chawanmushi for Princess.

As well as some spudsters.

In the evening, we went to the home of the Three Musketeers for dinner.

ET had steamed a fish, Thai style. The fish was very fresh!

Greenies for the night. Healthy and delicious.

The soup comprised pork ribs, radish, meat balls and fish balls.

Unfortunately, SY's rice cooker was on strike and the rice turned out very sticky.

Everyone enjoyed the opening ceremony of the Inaugural Youth Olympic Games. Singapore is the host of the YOG this year. Hurrah! Well done!
