老地方

Yes, you guessed it. We ate at Qi Ji twice in the same day again!

Brunch was at Qi Ji - our first stop of the day before church. Da ordered a nasi lemak set 3.

I ordered fried rice vermicelli.

One hot coffee and one hot tea... perfect combination!

Here is Princess, wearing her a-la-Audrey Hepburn coat-dress and doing a little bit of dancing before the start of her enrichment class. Her classmate (in the stroller in the background) arrived with a small Barney in her arms. Princess was so excited to see Barney because recently, the Three Handsome Boys gave her a medium sized Barney and she has been hugging and kissing her Barney every day. Often, she will request that Barney sleep next to her when she is getting ready for bed. I guess her bedtime is the same as Barney's bedtime?

After Princess' enrichment class, it was back to Qi Ji for tea time. Da ordered a mee siam.

I ordered a steamed yam cake.

We shared one soon kueh.

As for drinks, one hot and one cold.

I think Princess had too much fun and excitement during enrichment class today because she missed her afternoon nap and hence she was exhausted by the time we got home. I had originally planned to sponge her and let her have dinner before an early bedtime but she looked tired so we gave her a bottle of milk and she settled down on her bed. Unfortunately, despite the fact that she was tired, it took her about an hour to unwind from her exciting day and by the time she fell asleep, I was almost ready to call it a day myself!

As such, dinner was a simple one that involved rummaging through our refrigerator (heehee... I could not resist adding this part, to tease GP!).

I used the Nescafe Rich (3-in-1) and added hot milk and Milo... voila! Mocca!

This is the balance of the sweet potato bread bun that Princess did not finish eating this afternoon.

These are the last two pieces of the tau sar piah that ZT (girlfriend of my brother, LG) brought to our home recently. They tasted delicious when warmed up.

This is the goreng pisang that I bought from the Kallang Airport hawker centre on friday, 18 June 2010.

This is the potato bread bun that we bought from Carrefour last sunday.

We have quite a number of fruits in our refrigerator and as such, I cut a red apple and an orange for our dessert.
