Golden Shoe nasi lemak

The Golden Shoe hawker centre is located at Raffles Place area.

Each time my mother is in the vicinity, she will endeavour to buy the famous Golden Shoe nasi lemak.

Not only is the rice very "lemak", the food is value for money. A basic set like the one you see below costs only S$2.

For 50 cents more (ie. S$2.50), you can select a set that contains chicken wings or a chicken drumstick.

I do not eat chilli but my mother likes their chilli very much.

Typical of Singapore otah, it tends to be sweetish. I personally prefer Muar otah, despite it being more spicy.
